            People often think of Muslims’ history in the U.S. as part of recent immigration waves, but Islam's roots here go back hundreds of years. Watch, laugh with, and learn from comedian Negin Farsad and Professor Hussein Rashid of Barnard College in this animated short (executive produced by the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art) that illuminates some of Muslims' many contributions to this country.
